Typically you must have a door frame edge or guttering to allow the mirror to be fixed to as it clamps on to metal door frame edge

Clamp on fitting includes grub screws, allen key & rubber mounting gaskets
Left or right hand fitting, simply unbolt the mirror from the stem and swap the head around
